Payment Trial Lesson - No payment is due at a trial lesson. The purpose of a trial lesson is to make sure the student and teacher get along, the parent is satisfied with the way a teacher presents himself, and if home lessons are right for the student and parent. Individual Lesson - If the student is taking lessons on an irregular schedule, payment for each lesson must be provided before each lesson. Regular Monthly Sessions - Payment is due before the beginning of the first lesson of the monthly session. For students continuing lessons on a regular monthly basis, this means payment will be collected every four weeks. Four Week Sessions- Every student has their own four week session. This avoids complications with months with five weeks, and allows students to start or end at any point rather than waiting for a month to begin or end. Checks or Cash - Original Music Lessons accepts payments in checks or cash. Checks are to be made out to Original Music Lessons. |

Student
Responsibilities
Materials - Students are responsible for the purchase of
their own books, instruments, and other materials needed for the
lessons they are receiving. Our teachers will assist in referring
our students to where they can obtain these items. Student Contracts- Students or parents of students being taught by Original Music Lessons are to sign and hand in a student contract with their first payment of lessons. This student contract ensures that both the students and the parents understand the business arrangements of how these lessons will work. The student contract can be found on our website and can be printed out at home, or can be provided by the teacher upon the first regular lesson. |
